Firstly let me say Friday the 12th was a great night, and the performers really rocked the stage at Small Poppies Bar.

THIS Friday the 19th, will be the BIG one, as PHRASE comes down and really lets rip…..the buzz is good and the hype is massive.

Well its been an exciting beginning to the Month….
This week local stars “Phonic Division” & “Low Budget” Perform at Small Poppies on our T.P.S. Friday Night event.
There will also be Special Guests, and of course a Dj, this week we have Dj Plazma, tearing up the decks.
Friday 19th is HUGGGGEEEEEE…..
Our headliner is “PHRASE” a name now linked with international stars such as “Snoop Dogg”, of course it doesn’t end there, we have from Sydney Hip Hop group “WIZDM” and our local favourite “GMC” is back again. And Dj Flagrant will be on the decks.
Now we realize that It’s going to be very popular, but tickets will be available only at the door on the night, and at only $10, you better be early or you WILL miss out.

Launching this FRIDAY the 28th of April in the year 2006, is a new and exciting Nightclub located at 165-169 Nicholson St. Footscray, Vic.
Starting with a regular Friday Night Hip-Hop and R B Night called T.P.S. Fridays. Akasmallpoppies is the newest club on the west side of the City of Melbourne, and with a rare 24hr license is sure to host some of the biggest and craziest club nights around.
The Venue itself is based over the Train Tracks leading down the coast, and with fantastic views from the balcony, this venue is a rare gem.
BUT with such a unique location, we faced a unique problem "Train Noise", sooooo what the new Management and K.A.M.E. Productions Team decided was, it was time to go ALL OUT.
The Venue now boasts a MASSIVE sound system designed to be Clear but also louder than the train, but whats the point of a Nightclub sound system if all you have is a few coloured lights and a stage? NONE!!.. So to compliment our new nightclub sound system we have gotten a fantastic club lighting system including some special mirror balls for the upcoming dance nights. Not to mention our special effects installation. Ohh and did we mention the Log Fire in the centre of the room...now that's special!!
What was once a quiet little café/bar is now set to be a Pumping Nightclub, with all the bells and whistles, and already locals are fired-up about finally having their own safe, nightclub to go to on those party nights, without the hassle of carparking, and big taxi fares.

Finally the West Steps up and will offer what the East has always prided itself on, real entertainment venues, and not just another pokie venue, there are NO POKIES at our PLACE!!!
